Luminix Privacy Policy

Effective date: 15 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Jilin Binu Trading Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) processes personal information when you use Luminix, the Android application distributed through Google Play. Luminix is an AI-assisted cinematic image-creation tool that helps you transform everyday photos into film-inspired visuals, browse style inspiration, send lightweight in-app messages, and manage local creative preferences. By using Luminix, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. We do not sell personal and sensitive user data.

Rights and U.S. Notices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of personal information associated with your use of Luminix. You may also request a portable copy of personal data we hold about you where applicable law provides that right. To exercise any available right, email ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com. We will respond to privacy-related requests within a reasonable period after verification.

You may request correction (also called rectification) of inaccurate or incomplete personal data or personal information. Submit the corrected details and enough context for us to locate the relevant records by writing to ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com. We will verify the request and update or annotate records where the law requires us to do so.

Rights for EEA, UK, and Swiss users

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may have the right to access personal data, erase data, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, withdraw consent for permission-dependent processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. These rights are not absolute; exemptions may apply. Use ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com as the primary channel.

U.S. State Privacy Rights

California (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you rights to know about personal information we collect, to request deletion, to request correction, and to receive information about how personal information is used and disclosed. California residents may exercise these rights by emailing ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com. We will respond to privacy-related requests within a reasonable period after verification.

California residents have the right to know whether we collect personal data or personal information, whether that information is shared with third parties, and what categories are involved under the CCPA.

Under the CCPA, “share” and “sharing” have a specific definition under California law. That definition can include disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising and certain other disclosures that California treats as “sharing,” even when ordinary English might call them something else. Our actual disclosures to service providers for hosting, delivery, analytics, and stability are described in the Sharing Matrix section of this Policy. California residents may exercise the right to know by emailing ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com. We will respond to privacy-related requests within a reasonable period after verification.

Virginia (VCDPA)

If you are a Virginia resident, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) provides rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. Virginia residents may exercise these rights via ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com.

We explain how to opt out of the following VCDPA categories:

  1. Targeted advertising — Luminix does not presently run third-party targeted advertising based on cross-app profiling. If that practice changes, or if you believe you have been affected, you may opt out by emailing ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com.
  2. Sale of personal data — We do not sell personal data. You may still request confirmation or an opt-out record by emailing ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com.
  3. Profiling with legal or similarly significant effects — We do not engage in automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you. You may still submit an opt-out request for this category via ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com.

Data Inventory

Luminix processes limited categories of information needed to deliver cinematic creation features, maintain stability, and respond to support requests. We do not operate a registration or sign-in system; therefore we do not collect passwords, authentication credentials, or registration identifiers.

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

Information we do not seek

We do not request government ID numbers, precise continuous location tracking, contacts lists, or payment card details. Luminix is free and does not process in-app purchase or subscription billing data.

Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy when features, processors, or legal requirements change. When we make material updates, we will revise the effective date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, provide in-app notice. Continued use of Luminix after an update constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Policy, except where applicable law requires additional consent.

How to contact us

Please include “Luminix Privacy Request” in the subject line and describe the nature of your inquiry so we can route it correctly. We will respond to privacy-related requests within a reasonable period after verification.

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

We have designated Privacy Officer to oversee data protection compliance for Luminix. Users may contact the DPO regarding data protection and privacy matters by writing to ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com. Privacy Officer handles inquiries relating to the processing of personal data and applicable privacy rights, including questions about retention, sharing with processors, and regional rights described in this Policy. The DPO channel is the same privacy mailbox so that requests are logged and tracked under a single operational process.

Sharing Matrix

We disclose personal information only as needed to operate Luminix, comply with law, or protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information. Processors act on our instructions and are not permitted to use the data for unrelated advertising.

Cloud Hosting / CDN

We share the following with Cloud Hosting / CDN providers: display or profile presentation content associated with creative activity, user-generated content such as uploaded images, prompts, generated results, and message text you choose to send, and diagnostics needed to keep infrastructure healthy. The purpose is to host, transmit, store, and deliver core app features, including image generation workflows, style feed delivery, and message relay.

Analytics / Crash reporting

We share usage events, device metrics, and crash logs with Analytics / Crash reporting providers. The purpose is product improvement, performance analysis, and stability—for example, identifying failed generation sessions, measuring feature reliability, and prioritizing fixes.

Other limited disclosures

We do not authorize processors to sell your personal information or to use it for independent marketing unrelated to Luminix.

Additional Operational Details

Luminix’s product surfaces illustrate how the categories above arise in practice.

Cinematic Feed

The Feed presents curated cinematic style examples (for example, low-light cinematic, warm film, cool tone, moody atmosphere, vintage film, and cinematic framing). Example assets may be packaged with the App and cached locally (including in on-device storage such as SQLite) so that inspiration loads quickly. Favorites or like markers you set for style cards are typically stored as local preference signals. Reporting or blocking actions you take against content you find inappropriate may create local filter states and, when you submit a report through support channels, may include the description you provide.

Create (image-to-image)

Create is the core workflow: you select or capture an image, optionally write a prompt or tap style shortcuts, and request generation. The source image and prompt are transmitted to processing infrastructure so that a cinematic-style result can be returned. Generated images may be saved to your device media storage if you grant the relevant permission and choose to save. Regenerating or editing a prompt may cause additional processing of the same or updated inputs.

Clay Chat

Messaging lists may show avatar images, display nicknames, recent message previews, and timestamps. Chat details support text and emoji. Message content you send is user-generated content processed to deliver the messaging feature. Deleting a conversation on your device removes local thread state; server-side copies, if any, follow the Retention rules.

Profile and support

Profile provides a lightweight card for display nickname and avatar, links to the Privacy Policy and User Terms by name, a feedback entry point, and an About screen. Feedback you submit voluntarily is treated as support correspondence. Uninstalling the App removes App-controlled local caches according to Android storage behavior; it does not automatically erase every server-side record created when you previously uploaded media or contacted support.

Monetization note

Luminix is offered free of charge without in-app purchases or subscriptions. This Policy therefore does not describe Google Play Billing, paid entitlements, or subscription renewals.

Where the GDPR or comparable frameworks apply, each processing activity rests on a named legal basis (also called a lawful basis) under Article 6-style principles. We do not process personal data without identifying at least one of the grounds below.

Performance of a contract (or equivalent)

Delivering the core service you request—running image-to-image generation, showing style inspiration, transmitting messages you send, and returning generated results—depends on processing the inputs needed for those features. That processing is grounded in performance of a contract or the equivalent necessity of providing the service when you use Luminix.

Legitimate interests

We rely on legitimate interests for product stability, abuse prevention, security monitoring, and limited analytics that help us understand how features perform. We balance those interests against your rights and expectations, and we avoid processing that would be disproportionate for a free cinematic creation tool on Android.

Where device permissions (camera, microphone, photos and media, or external storage) are required before a feature can run, processing that flows from those permissions rests on your consent, which you may withdraw in Android system settings. Withdrawal does not retroactively invalidate processing that already occurred lawfully while consent was active.

If we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law, court orders, or regulatory requests, the legal obligation basis applies to the minimum data necessary for that compliance purpose.

Purpose-to-basis mapping

| Main purpose | Legal basis relied on |

|---|---|

| Core App service delivery (feed, creation, messaging) | Performance of a contract (or equivalent) |

| Media capture, selection, upload, and temporary storage for creation or display | Consent (device permissions) and performance of a contract |

| Analytics, crash diagnostics, and performance measurement | Legitimate interests |

| Security, fraud or abuse detection, and integrity of reporting tools | Legitimate interests |

| Use of processors (hosting, CDN, analytics tooling) | Legitimate interests and/or performance of a contract, with processors bound by contract |

| Responses to lawful requests | Legal obligation |

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Measures may include encrypted transmission for network transfers, access controls limited to personnel and systems that need the data, segmentation between production and testing environments where feasible, and monitoring for anomalous infrastructure behavior.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Absolute guarantees such as “100% secure” or “unbreakable encryption” would be misleading; instead, we commit to maintaining safeguards appropriate to the nature of Luminix data and to reviewing controls as the product evolves. If we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information in a way that triggers legal notification duties, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.

You can reduce risk by keeping your Android device updated, using device-level lock screens, and granting sensitive permissions only when you intend to use the related feature.

Children

Luminix is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the App is not directed to users under 18. There is no in-app age verification beyond any initial confirmation you may be asked to provide. If you are under 18, you must not use Luminix.

If you believe we have collected personal information from a person under 18, contact ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com. After verification, we will delete or otherwise address the information as required by law. Parents or guardians who need assistance with a privacy concern involving a minor may use the same channel.

Platform Scope

This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to the Luminix Android application made available through Google Play. References to device settings, permission dialogs, photos and media access, and scoped storage follow Android conventions.

This Policy does not cover third-party websites, other developers’ applications, or offline services that may be mentioned in creative examples or messages. Those services follow their own privacy notices. Unless we publish a separate notice stating otherwise, the practices described here are limited to Google Play distribution of Luminix on Android devices.

Luminix is not described here as an iOS product. This Policy does not address Apple-only identifiers, App Store distribution, or iOS-only system paths.

Controller

The data controller responsible for personal information processed under this Policy is:

Jilin Binu Trading Co., Ltd.

No.51005, Unit 2, Building A-5, Youth City (Zone A), west of Qingnian Road and south of North Ring City Road, Kuancheng District, Changchun City

Privacy and DPO inquiries: ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com

When processors handle personal information on our behalf (for example, cloud hosting or analytics tooling), they do so under contractual terms that restrict use to the purposes we authorize. The controller remains responsible for deciding the purposes and essential means of processing described in this Policy.

Permissions

Luminix may request the following Android permissions. Each permission is used only when a related feature needs it. Camera, microphone, and photos access are not used in the background; access occurs while you are actively using the relevant foreground feature. You may deny or later revoke permissions in Android Settings → Apps → Luminix → Permissions. Revoking a permission disables the dependent feature but does not prevent browsing local style examples that do not require that permission.

Supplementary Reviewer Transparency

This section restates key facts for Google Play reviewers and users who want a compact checklist.

  1. Controller identity: Jilin Binu Trading Co., Ltd., at the Changchun address listed above.
  2. Contact: ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com (privacy and DPO).
  3. No sale: The introduction contains our single no-sale commitment regarding personal and sensitive user data; practices elsewhere remain consistent with that commitment.
  4. Access mode: No user registration or login; deletion of App/device/support-submitted data is requested by email, not through an in-app “delete account” menu.
  5. Data safety mapping: Device info is required, collected, and shared for analytics, security, and service delivery. Photos and videos are optional, collected for profile and in-app media features, and not shared for independent third-party purposes.
  6. Sharing mapping: Cloud Hosting / CDN receives profile presentation content, user-generated content, and diagnostics to host and deliver core features. Analytics / Crash reporting receives usage events, device metrics, and crash logs for improvement and stability.
  7. Sensitive permissions: Camera, microphone, and photos are foreground-only (not in the background).
  8. Age: 18+ intended audience.
  9. Monetization: Free; no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
  10. SDK list: No named third-party SDK inventory was supplied in the generation inputs; any infrastructure partners operate as processors under the Sharing Matrix categories above rather than as undisclosed collectors.

These points do not replace the detailed sections of this Policy; they summarize them for faster verification.

Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose that justified collection, then delete or de-identify it when retention is no longer necessary, subject to legal holds.

Retention by data type

Because Luminix does not provide registration or an in-app account-closure path, request removal of App-related, device-associated, or support-submitted personal information by emailing ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com. Describe the data you want removed and provide information that helps us verify the request (for example, approximate dates of use, device type, or support ticket references). We will respond to privacy-related requests within a reasonable period after verification. Uninstalling Luminix clears App-controlled local storage according to Android behavior but may not erase every server-side record until a verified deletion request is completed or retention expires.

Transfers

Luminix may process and store information on servers or infrastructure located outside the country where you use the App. When personal data moves across borders, we apply safeguards appropriate to the destination and to the sensitivity of the data.

Typical safeguards include contractual clauses with processors, access controls limited to roles that need the data, and encryption in transit for network transfers. If a transfer occurs to a jurisdiction that does not provide an adequacy decision under GDPR-style rules, we rely on standard contractual mechanisms or equivalent protections where required.

Cloud hosting and content delivery networks may cache or transmit user-generated media, prompts, and related diagnostics so that creation and messaging features remain available. Analytics and crash-reporting channels may receive device metrics and usage events from regions other than your own. These transfers support the same purposes listed in the Sharing Matrix and do not expand the categories of data we collect beyond what this Policy discloses.

You may contact ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com if you have questions about cross-border processing that affects you.

Eligibility and Access Mode

Luminix is designed for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must not use Luminix. We do not perform comprehensive age verification beyond any initial confirmation presented in the product experience.

Access mode. Luminix does not offer user registration, login, sign-in, passwords, or an authentication-based membership system. You access features by installing and opening the App on your Android device. Optional display nicknames or avatars, if used, are presentation labels for creative or messaging surfaces—not credentials created through sign-up.

Because there is no registered membership to close, privacy deletion is handled by contacting ewolffertrantokutch@gmail.com to request removal of App-related, device-associated, or support-submitted data, as described in Retention. References to the Privacy Policy and User Terms inside the App are by document name only.

By using Luminix, you confirm that you meet the age requirement and that you understand how personal information is processed under this Policy.
